       姜黄火了。吃姜黄列为长寿法之一。它还被冠以“超级食物”——对抗炎症,预防癌症,抵抗阿尔兹海默症,为身体解毒等各种广告宣称。姜黄真的那么神奇吗?还是它只是被炒作起来的一个时尚?专家们说目前还没有足够证据证明其有治疗或预防疾病的功能。

姜黄的简历

       姜黄,芭蕉目,姜科、姜黄属多年生草本植物。

       姜黄作为印度主要食材已经有近4000年的历史了。它也是民间的神药,相传几个世纪用以改善消化,减轻关节炎,治愈伤口,治疗多种疾病。

       有研究显示姜黄起到消炎、抗菌、抗癌、抗氧化的作用,而功臣是其中的姜黄素。

       在癌症中,姜黄素能激活使癌症细胞在早期死亡的通路。它还能阻碍细胞生长、分裂和增殖。由于它针对癌细胞,保留健康细胞,所以很受癌症专家的青睐。

       对于炎症,研究显示姜黄素能改变免疫系统的表达,阻碍引发关节炎的酶。

       除了以上医学领域,还有皮肤问题,如痤疮、瘙痒、银屑病、皮疹,感染,炎症性肠病,高胆固醇和心脏病,糖尿病,抑郁,牙龈问题都有姜黄的立足之地。

       姜黄的不同部位也有不同的作用,整根姜黄,单一成分比如姜黄素,或者多种混合成分显示的功能也不同。

为何姜黄不是健康的简单解决方案?

       医生不会给病人开姜黄的最主要原因之一是身体不会很好地吸收姜黄。姜黄不会被肠道吸收,因此你吃一大堆姜黄才能勉强让姜黄中的活性成分进入到你的血液中。

       不过有一个办法能促进姜黄吸收——和黑胡椒一起吃。黑胡椒中的胡椒碱能阻止肠道分解姜黄,从而促进吸收。脂肪或油一起食用也有类似作用。

姜黄安全吗?

       一般来说,不管你是进食还是涂抹,姜黄都是安全的。研究指出,一天1200毫克姜黄也不会有危险。美国亚利桑那大学综合医学中心综合医学联合主任 Ann Marie Chiasson说,每日最佳剂量是500毫克,一天两次

       姜黄也不是十全十美。过多的姜黄会造成呕吐和腹泻姜黄还有致胆囊收缩的风险,所以有胆结石或胆囊疾病的人要慎重。姜黄还可能和一些药物(如柳氮磺胺吡啶,一种治疗溃疡性结肠炎和类风湿性关节炎的药)发生反应,失去药效。

我该不该吃姜黄?

       姜黄有好处,但并不是灵丹妙药。目前还需要科学家继续努力,找到更多证明姜黄的健康效用的证据以及如何增加吸收率。姜黄作为调味品没有问题,但如果要作为治疗或预防的保健品,大家还是要咨询医生。
